Santa Teresa di Gallura
One of the most popular resorts in North Sardinia is Santa Teresa di Gallura, a small town founded in the nineteenth century, that has become a popular vacation spot since the 60s. The beauty of its beaches and its coast combines the services and distractions offered by tourist facilities. The harbor of the town is dominated by the Tower of Longosardo; in the center of the town is one of the most beloved and popular beaches: Rena Bianca beach. The Marmorata beach lies to the east and it is amazing the view that you can enjoy from here: the coast of Corsica and the islands of La Maddalena Archipelago.
To the west is the promontory of Capo Testa, a rounded shape, characterized by incredibly large rocky masses eroded by the wind and water. In the eastern part of the cape opens the Santa Reparata Bay, with the homonymous beach; further extends the Cala Spinosa beach. From here a path leads to the northern sector of Capo Testa, near the lighthouse by the same name. Here the gray granite rock formations are truly extraordinary, eroded into a thousand different forms, resting on other granites lapped by the sea. Further west of Capo Testa is the wonderful Valley of the Moon, a huge fracture in the granite rocks of an extraordinary majesty and beauty.
